Our Mission

We firmly believe that growth happens best in close relationships.

We also believe that "the church" is a people, not a building and that most ministry takes place outside of the building.

We encourage each other to live our lives in a way that demands a gospel explanation, from the people we encounter in the normal paths of our lives.

How We Do Church

We are a church of small groups, not a church with small groups.

We believe that relationships can best develop and grow in a smaller setting.

Our small groups meet in homes and learn together, serve one another and serve others together.

We call these "Missional Small Groups."

Brad, with his wife Sonya, has been in pastoral ministry since their marriage in 1981. They have pastored in Alaska, Oregon, California, and now in his home town of Olympia Washington. Dean came to faith later in life. In 2001, after life challenges and running out of answers, he gave his heart and life to Jesus Christ. Dean was discipled at Mountain View Church and eventually grew into ministry leadership positions. In 2009 he left his career in high tech and entered full time ministry, pursued formal education (earning his MA in Pastoral Ministry at NNU) and was ordained as an elder in the Church of the Nazarene in 2017. Dean is currently bi-vocational, is married to Melanie and has two grown children, Laura and Tristan. He enjoys playing bass guitar, riding his Harley, building things and pretty much anything with a motor.
